The committ ee will continue its review of the propose d legislati on establish ing a uniform probate code.

Nominees

                    Curren t statute s require a trial court nomina ting commi ssion to nomina te judges of the district court and juvenil e court. Since Januar y, the nomina ting commi ssion has volunta rily submitt ed five names to the govern or for vacanc ies in the Third Judicial District although the statute only requires three names be submitte d. The committ ee will discuss the Judicial nominati ng process.
