S.B. 258 Rename Utah State University - College of Eastern Utah (Sen. D. Hinkins)
Sen. Hinkins introduced and explained the bill.
Spoke in favor of the bill: Dr. Joe Peterson, Chancellor, Utah State University - College of Eastern Utah
MOTION: Sen. Jones moved to pass S.B. 258 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously, with Sen. Stevenson and Sen. Stephenson absent for the vote.
MOTION: Sen. Jones moved to place S.B. 258 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously, with Sen. Stevenson and Sen. Stephenson absent for the vote.
S.B. 260 Reading Assessment Amendments (Sen. S. Urquhart)
Sen. Urquhart introduced and explained the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Urquhart moved to replace S.B. 260 with 1st Sub. S.B. 260. The motion passed unanimously, with Sen. Stevenson and Sen. Stephenson absent for the vote.
