Approval of Minutes
MOTION: Sen. Jones moved to approve the minutes of the March 1, 2013 and March 4, 2013 meetings. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Madsen and Sen. Urquhart absent for the vote.
S.J.R. 5 Joint Resolution on State Superintendent of Public Instruction (Sen. S. Reid)
Sen. Reid introduced and explained the resolution.
Acting Chair Osmond relinquished the Chair to Sen. Jones.

H.B. 306 School Land Trust Program Amendments (Rep. L. Perry) (Sen. A. Osmond)
Rep. Perry introduced and explained the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Stephenson moved to amend the bill as follows:

S.B. 209 Grants for Personal Mobile Learning Devices (Sen. A. Osmond)
Sen. Osmond introduced and explained the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Osmond moved to amend the bill as follows:
1. Page 3, Lines 81 through 82:
