Chair Bramble called the meeting to order at 8:05 a.m.

Approval of Minutes

MOTION: Sen. Weiler moved to approve the minutes of February 25, 2013. The

motion passed unanimously with Sen. Hinkins and Sen. Valentine

absent for the vote.

S.B. 208 Solar Photovoltaic Contractor License Amendments (E. Vickers)

Rep. Vickers introduced and explained the bill and answered questions from the committee.

Spoke in support of the bill: Wayne Joncs, Executive Director, Utah Solar Energy Association

MOTION: Sen. Valentine moved to transmit S.B. 208 favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION: Sen. Hinkins moved to place S.B. 208 on the Consent Calendar. The motion failed

with Sen. Mayne voting in opposition.

S.B. 93 Interlocal Cooperation Act Amendments (J. Valentine)

Sen. Valentine introduced and explained the bill and a handout was distributed.

MOTION: Sen. Bramble moved to transmit S.J.R. 14 favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION: Sen. Henderson moved to adopt 1st Sub. S.B. 219. The motion passed
