Sen. Okerlund assumed the Committee Chair and called the meeting to order at 8:18 a.m.
Approval of Minutes
MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to adopt the minutes of the February 26, 2013 meeting. The
motion passed unanimously with Sens. Osmond and Reid absent for the vote.
S.B. 211 Redevelopment Agency Amendments (J. Stevenson)
MOTION: Sen. Stevenson moved to adopt 1st Sub. 211. The motion passed unanimously with
with Sen. Osmund absent for the vote.
Sen. Stevenson introduced and explained the bill assisted by Randy Sant, Economic Development, City of South Salt Lake
Sen. Osmond resumed the Committee Chair.
Spoke in support of the bill: Royce Van Tassell, Utah Taxpayers Association
MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to transmit 1st Sub. S.B. 211 favorably. The motion passed unanimously.
1st Sub. S.B. 177 Highway Designation Amendments (S Reid)
Sen. Reid introduced and explained the bill.

MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Okerlund
absent for the vote. Chair Osmond adjourned the meeting at 8:55 p.m.
