Under provisions of Title 19-6-119(1)(a)(iii), a fee of $2.50 per ton of commercial construction waste is supposed to be collected and credited to the General Fund Restricted - Environmental Quality Account. These fees are not being collected. Estimated potential annual fees with current commercial waste volumes is estimated at $1,875,000. If provisions of this bill are enacted that potential income could be lost.
