This bill makes an existing pilot program in Davis County statutory. This pilot was initially funded with $70,000 in state funds. As the recommendations for statewide implementation are developed, there may be additional costs, particularly in the area of data entry and data base maintenence. These costs will, in the main, accrue to local agencies for costs related to inputing to the data base. A statewide cost for at least some ongoing programming and coordination can also be anticipated at a cost of $15,000, but until the task force develops its recommendations, total costs cannot be estimated.
