This bill appropriates $1,000,000 General Fund one-time funding to the Division of Travel Development and $75,000 one-time General Fund to the Department of Transportation for FY 1998 to carry out the provisions of the bill. An ongoing General Fund appropriation of $75,000 to the Division of Travel Development and $25,000 to the Department of Transportation will be required to operate and maintain the Welcome Center. Funds to complete the Welcome Center will be matched with local revenue.
