This bill helps the State Board of Education to clearly define what students should qualify to participate in the Gang Prevention programs being offered at the schools around the state. The funding for the Gang Prevention program is funded as part of the Minimum School Program under the alternative services line. The passage of this bill will not require an increase the funding needed for Gang Prevention.
