This bill delays the time before an employee may accrue "converted sick leave", but once eligible, the employee may accrue it faster. It is estimated that the net impact per program and agency would be marginal since the current state average is slightly more than one converted day per year. The estimated expenses could be absorbed within existing agency budgets.
