The fiscal impact of this bill cannot be quantified because the number employees who would convert to the Public Safety Non Contributory plan is unknown. However, if all eligible employees make the conversion, it is estimated that the annual cost from all funding sources would be $7,500. Also, the Retirement Office will be absorbing one time administrative costs of approximatley $4,000.
