Passage of this resolution would require an appropriation of $20,200 to the Elections Office in FY 1999 to cover the cost of putting the resolution on the ballot. If the resolution passes and the changes were implemented there would be a potential shift in property tax burden due to the truth in taxation provisions in the property tax section of the Utah Code.
