The cost for the salary increases for elected officials proposed by this bill is $11,700 from the General Fund in FY 1998. The bill also increases the minimum and maximum rates of the executive compensation plan for appointed officials by 2.8 percent. Any fiscal impact will depend upon salary increases approved by the Governor within the approved rates.
