The language of this legislation is permissive and based on the availability of funding. If the provisions of this bill were funded, General Fund would be required to replace federal funds to provide services that are reduced by the federal government. It is estimated that the cost to provide services would be: $3,216,000 General Fund for the Food Stamp Program $100,000 General Fund for Health programs $14,500 General Fund for Division of Aging and Adult Services programs, and potentially more than $5,000,000 Local Funds for programs in entitlement areas of the state.
