Any fiscal impact associated with the implementation of this bill can be handled within existing budgets. Provisions of the bill allows a civil penalty of not more than $10,000 per day and provisions for a class A misdemeanor citation for violations. It is unknown at this time how many violations will occur. Therefore, estimates of revenue realized from violations are not possible at this time.
