As a result of truth in taxation provisions, passage of this bill will be revenue neutral. There will, however, be a shift in tax burden which would result in increased taxes being paid by those individuals owning homes with values over $250,000. In order to implement the provisions of the bill, counties will have to make programming changes to existing computer systems.
