This bill establishes baccalaureate programs at Dixie College beginning with the fall semester of 2000. One-time revenues of $500,000 will be contributed to enhance academic support of upper division programs from the Dixie College Foundation. The bill provides for the transfer of funding of $494,000 from the General Fund from Southern Utah University-University Center at St. George to Dixie College's Education & General line item. This transfer will be used for administration ($175,000) and baccalaureate programs ($319,000).
