No fiscal impact. A class B misdemeanor usually results in a fine. At the extreme, there could be some jail and probation. Since the State no longer supervises probation, any costs due to penalties would be borne by the counties. The Utah Sherifff's Association advises that any cost associated with this offense can be accommodated within existing budgets.
