AMENDED BILL
The provisions of this bill could increase caseloads per year for the Family Employment Program by between 50 and 75 people and the Family Medicaid programs by approximately 300 adults and 650 children. These estimates are based on cases rejected due to asset limits being exceeded the last two years. It is estimated that additional expenditures of $270,000 in federal funds for the Family Employment Programs will be required. The bill may increase the number of qualified cases for the Family Medicaid Programs beyond existing State resources. Changes to the eligibility requirements may affect current federal waivers which could adversely impact federal revenue for Medicaid Programs and medicaid eligibility for some Family Employment Program participants.
