Assuming the new ATC will be funded from existing service region budgets, there is no fiscal impact in FY 2001 and FY 2002. However, it is noted that current annual State appropriation costs at the five other ATCs range from approximately $1,100,000 to $8,100,000. Increased building space has also generally been a requirement for new ATCs. Future operations funding growth and equipment funding requests will likely occur on an annual basis. Some of these costs could be partially mitigated through private sector participation.
