HB0066 - Tuition Waivers for Higher Education

State Impact:
Passage of this bill increases the number of tuition waivers allowed for nonresident students from 500 to 900. A recipient of the waiver would pay in-state resident tuition rates, which would be applied to the costs of the student's education. The new waivers can be handled within existing budgets.

Individual and Business Impact:
Nonresident students would benefit from having part or all of the nonresident portion of the tuition waived.
