HB0221 - Ambulance and Paramedic Fee Amendments

State Impact:
There could be some loss of revenue to local governments that provide or contract for ambulance services, but it is estimated to be minimal. No state government fiscal impact.

Individual and Business Impact:
Ambulance services in certain metropolitan service areas could lose the revenue from calls where no service or transportation is provided to the potential patient. Service calls could be as much as $300 per call. Some ambulance services do not charge in these circumstances now.
