SB0014 - Insurance Department - Sunset Amendments and Revisions

State Impact:
This bill strikes the sunset dates for Insurance Department e-commerce fees. If the fees were allowed to sunset, the department would lose $308,000 in FY 2006 and about $450,000 in FY 2007 in Dedicated Credits.

Individual and Business Impact:
Insurance producers, agencies and companies and other licensees will continue to pay fees ranging from $5 to $75.
