SB0174 - In-state Tuition for Members of Utah National Guard

State Impact:
With this expanded definition of resident student, it is estimated that an additional 20 students may enroll in an institution of higher education. As enrollment increased as a result of this change, it would be handled as regular enrollment growth, with a state appropriation and in-state tuition to cover the costs of the new students.

Individual and Business Impact:
qualified military personnel would benefit from paying in-state tuition rather than out-of-state-tuition rates.
