HCR001 - Concurrent Resolution Approving the Interlocal Agreement Creating the Utah Lake Commission

State Impact:
Enactment of this bill will not require additional appropriations. Provisions of the bill requires the state to contribute 35% of Utah Lake Commission's annual budget. The estimated cost of the Commission is $300,000. The state portion of that cost is $105,000. The Departments of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and Natural Resources (DNR) will pay these expenses from existing budgets. The DNR portion will come from the June Sucker Recovery Program. The DEQ portion will come from the Division of Water Quality - Total Maximum Daily Loads Program.

Individual, Business and/or Local Impact:
Local governments will be required to fund $195,000 of the Utah Lake Commission's budget to meet provisions of this bill.
