State Impact:
It is estimated that the bill will increase state revenues by $148,300 annually beginning FY 2008. The Department of Public Safety will require $152,400 in restricted funds in FY 2008 and $123,600 in FY 2009 and each fiscal year thereafter to implement provisions of the bill.
