SB0053 - Higher Education Engineering Partnership
State Impact:
Enactment of this bill will appropriate $872,400 in ongoing funding from the Education Fund, with $375,000 going to Weber State and $497,400 going to Utah State. In addition, $865,000 in one-time Education Funds will go to Weber State ($100,000) and Utah State ($765,000) in FY 2008. This is to establish an electrical engineering program in partnership between Utah State University and Weber State University.
