State Impact:
Enactment of this bill will require a one-time appropriation from the Commerce Service Fund of $14,000 in FY 2009 for database modifications. It will also generate $1,000 in revenues to the Commerce Service Fund in FY 2009 and $5,200 per year beginning in FY 2010. As balances in the Commerce Service Fund lapse into the General Fund, the net impact on the General Fund will be $13,000 in lost revenue in FY 2009 and $5,200 per year in new revenue beginning in FY 2010.
