State Impact:
Enactment of this legislation will require an additional $7,000 from the General Fund in FY 2011 and $4,000 from the General Fund each year thereafter to the Department of Health for costs associated with ultrasounds and educational materials.

Individual, Business and/or Local Impact:
Local health departments may see increased costs as a result of providing free ultrasounds. Physicians performing abortions may have increased costs associated with increased reporting requirements. Provisions of the bill do not directly impact other local government entities or private businesses.
