HB0324 - HIV Testing of Alleged Sex Offenders
State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
This bill may cost the Department of Health as much as $500 one-time General Fund in FY 2011 and $3,100 ongoing General Fund beginning in FY 2012 for testing up to 50 indigent, alleged sexual offenders annually for HIV.

Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
Local health departments will have costs associated with victims who request follow up based on the results of HIV test results of alleged sexual offenders.
Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Up to 200 alleged sexual offenders annually may need to pay $30.75 for an HIV test, and some may pay another $66.00 for a confirmatory test.
