Enactment of this bill could reduce local government sales tax revenue by $6,500 annually.
Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Individuals and businesses purchasing energy efficient stoves or fuel for energy efficient stoves will not pay sales tax, eliminating a sales tax liability of $80,100 annually.
