Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Enactment of this bill will result in a $50,000 annual reduction in fee collections by the Workers' Compensation Fund. This results from shifting responsibilities to the Labor Commission and changing the three year renewal rate to an annual rate. Individual businesses will also be required to pay the waiver fee on an annual basis as opposed to renewal every three years.
