HB0478 - Economic Development Through Sports Promotion

State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
After Economic Development Tax Increment Financing (EDTIF) commitments are met in FY 2028, this bill would transfer remaining General Fund balances of $7,230,200 to the Sports Commission. No impact is anticipated for FY 2013 or FY 2014.

Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
Enactment of this bill likely will not result in direct, measurable costs for local governments.

Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
The Sports Commission could receive a benefit of $7,230,200 in FY 2028 after all EDTIF commitments are paid.
