SB0015S01 - Off-highway Vehicles Amendments
State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill will generate up to $445,000 in restricted revenues to the following accounts: $240,000 to the Off-highway Vehicle Restricted Account and $205,000 to the new Utah Highway Patrol Aero Bureau Restricted Account. This bill creates a new restricted account, which is estimated to cost the Division of Finance $1,500 ongoing from General Fund. The Division of Finance reports that this cost can be absorbed within its existing appropriation.

Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Owners of approximately 30,000 snowmobiles may be required to pay up to $9 more in registration fees, and owners of approximately 175,000 off-highway vehicles may be required to pay up to $1 more in off-highway vehicle registration fees. The estimated total cost to individuals and businesses is up to $445,000 per year.
