HB0095 - Retail Sale of Tobacco Products

State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill likely will not materially impact the state budget.

Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
Municipalities will incur costs associated with issuing new licenses and enforcing zoning requirements for new tobacco specialty businesses. Municipalities might receive revenues associated with the new licenses.

Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Tobacco specialty businesses will need to obtain a new license from municipalities and pay a criminal background check fee of approximately $15 each. New tobacco specialty businesses will need to comply with new zoning requirements.
