Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
By requiring school districts and charter schools to conduct seismic evaluations on about 1,200 buildings, such entities will incur seismic evaluation costs of around $500 per school, or total costs of about $600,000. The bill appropriates $500,000 for school district and charter school reimbursement costs.
