HJR021 - Joint Resolution on State Health Insurance

State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
This resolution directs Public Employee’s Benefit and Insurance Program (PEHP) to take action to adjust costs to health and dental plans to stay within existing revenues. PEHP anticipates using excess medical contingency reserves of the State Risk Pool and change member coinsurance from 10% to 20% to enact provisions of the resolution.

Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
Enactment of this bill likely could result in direct, measurable costs for local governments that offer PEHP coverage for their employees.

Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Enactment of this bill likely will result in direct, measurable expenditures by Utah residents who are covered by PEHP programs.
