Fiscal Notes

Fiscal Notes quantify the cost implications of proposed and enacted legislation. A note is appended to each bill introduced in the Legislature.

View: To view the note for a given piece of legislation, you may browse a complete list of bills being considered by the Legislature, or conduct a search by legislator or subject. Once you locate the text of the bill in which you are interested, follow the link to its associated Fiscal Note.

Prepare: If you are a Fiscal Note contact person preparing input to the Office of the Legislative Fiscal Analyst, a set of Fiscal Note Instructions and a copy of the standard Fiscal Note Form (click here for Word Perfect version) are available for your convenience.
