Agency: University of Utah Line Item: Center on Aging Function The Utah Center on Aging was authorized to be placed within the University of Utah with the passage of Senate Bill 26 during the 2007 General Session. The bill provded authorization for the Center through July 1, 2009. The sunset date was extended to July 1, 2012 during the 2009 General Session. Statutory Authority The following statute applies to the Utah Commission on Aging in addition to the laws previously mentioned: - UCA 63M-11-203 Defines and outlines the duties of the Utah Commission on Aging.
