Line Item: Uninsured Employers Fund

Function

The Uninsured Employers' Fund assists in the payment of workers compensation benefits to eligible persons where their employer did not maintain statuorily required workers compensation insurance and revenues come from Workers' Compensation premium assesstments collected by the State Tax Commission.

Revenues come from a 0.25% surcharge on employers' Workers' Compensation premiums collected by the State Tax Commission.
