Group: Natural Resources, Agriculture, & Environment Agency: Agriculture Line Item: Invasive Species Mitigation Function This line item was created to account for the funding from the Invasive Species Mitigation restricted account. The purpose for this restricted account is to provide funding for projects preventing catastrophic wildland fire in a watershed or to restore watersheds after wildland fires. Statutory Authority UCA 4-2-8.7 creates the Invasive Species Mitigation Account. Intent Language Under the terms of 63J-1-603 of the Utah Code, the Legislature intends that appropriations provided for Invasive Species in Item 23, Chapter 7, First Special Session, Laws of Utah 2009, shall not lapse at the close of FY 2010.
