The Statewide Data Alliance represents the costs of tracking students across time with the intent of improving educational achievement and lifetime earnings.
The following appropriation adjustments were made during the 2015 General Session:
The Utah Data Alliance is a multi-agency partnership organized to:
- Develop and maintain a system that tracks individuals across time, including from preschool to K12 to postsecondary education, and finally to income earned while in the workforce; and
- Conduct research on the usefulness of various education programs.
Members of the Statewide Data Alliance include the Utah State Office of Education, the Utah System of Higher Education, the Utah Education Policy Center, the Utah Department of Workforce Services, the Utah Education Network, and the Utah College of Applied Technology.
