PLEASE VOTE NO!

Even if all went well and we got what we wanted, we would set a huge precedent to have more and more Constitutional Conventions.

Some believe that our taxes would be raised enough to vote out Congress…How many times do taxpayers get their taxes reduced? Vote no to protect ALL AMERICANS!

Even if we were to get rid of the current congress, our taxes will still remain high with the new balanced budget proposal in place.

Please read Article V of the US Constitution:

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this

Constitution, or, on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention

for proposing amendments . ..

That's all it says -- Congress shall "call" a convention. This lack of direction leaves it wide open for interpretation by Congress so that they can control a new set of rules regarding the who and the how for delegates and more.   This is NOT a good thing and yet, more and more Utah legislators are being convinced that they can control a convention because they believe that our legislators will be the delegates.

Thanks!
