Attached is a letter from the Mountainland Association of Governments's Advisory Council on Aging supporting funding for meals and caregiver programs. (See the details and need in the attachment.)  Our service are is Summit, Utah, and Wasatch counties.

Meal funding is being included as a recommendation from the Social Services Appropriations Subcommittee to the Executive Appropriations Committee to fund with one-time monies.

The caregiver funding was not discussed by the subcommittee.

Thank you for your consideration and support of these funding requests.  Our area, by formula, receives about 13% of the full state allocation.
