The Utah legislature cannot continue to ignore the rights of gay activists. Utah should be a progressive state and not a backward closed society. The attached Salt Lake Tribune Story was common in South Africa and the Southern US thirty years ago. Utah needs to move forward in into the 21st Century and not backward into the 20th and 19th century. Debate the rights of the gay community.
