Body:
To whom it may concern,
I am a wood burning resident of Utah County, and I am concerned that my rights of burning will be taken away from me. Burning wood is how I heat my home in the winter and save on my gas and electric bills. To take away the people’s right to burn is wrong. Wood burning has been around from the begging of mankind and will always be here. Utah has always been known for its bad inversions. When Geneva was up and running that was the excuse to why we had bad inversions. Once it was shut down did the inversions go away no apparently not we still have inversions thus the reason wood burning fire places is being brought up. Now the blame is on the people because we burn wood. Do not take our right a why just because wood burning is the next easiest excuse. I have heard that the Indians called our valleys Smokey valley. I don’t know if you know this but we are surrounded by mountains that trap in the pollutions that create the inversions and we will always have inversions because of the mountains and the high and low pressures that are here because of them. I plead with you to not take away my rights along with all other Utahans to heat our homes and keep our families warm.
