Whether it's photographers, cake decorators and bakeries, B&B's, Catholic Charities or children in public schools I can see from stories around this country that adding 'sexual orientation' and 'gender identity' to already-existing Non-Discrimination laws is NOT good for our country.  It definitely would NOT be good for Utah.  This 'bathroom' bill will deteriorate our society and our Freedom of Religion, freedom of conscience and even a right to make a living here in Utah.  It will also put our children's virtue and purity at risk if they are to be forced to share bathrooms, dressing rooms and shower facilities with the opposite sex in our schools.

I am pleading with each of you that you do not allow this so-called "Non-Discrimination" bill [being sponsored by Senator Steve Urquhart] to be brought to the Senate Floor at this next session [or any session].  If it does reach the floor, I pray that you will not vote for it.

I know we can learn from others mistakes.  Utah is a special place to live and we know we do not have to follow in the footsteps of the 'world'.

Even in this dark hour, we can still realize that morality really DOES exist and that our government is suppose to be based upon it.

Thank you for your time and for all the good you do for Utah.

God bless each of you in making good choices for our Republic.

Take care, Merry Christmas and may Providence still watch over us this New Year.

Sincerely,
