Todd, I read the SL Tribune article about Margaret Plane not getting a Senate hearing for a state judge position. I would like to hear your thoughts about this. My initial reaction is she should be given a hearing. This allows the full voice of the state through their representatives to participate, but this is certainly not my area of expertise. The decision to retain judges is the most difficult ones I make each time because I am lucky enough not to have experience in court.
