I am writing to you to respectfully request that you reconsider your position to block and deny a hearing for Margaret Plane.

The depth of this injustice towards someone as stellar and intensely qualified as Margaret is very disturbing. 

At the moment it does appear purely partisan. I'd like to give you all the benefit of the doubt and think that you adhere to the Utah Constitution. There is absolutely no position you can reasonably take to not include Margaret Plane on your schedule.

For the greater good of the State of Utah and all of its citizens, please include her in your schedule and give this highly regarded candidate a chance. Take the time to hear her, know her and I believe you will understand the misguidance of your current position. Not doing so is not what is in the best interest of our State. It sends a bad message. Gov Herbert would not have recommended her if he didn't think she'd pass through the senate hearings with flying colors. She deserves a confirmation hearing.

I trust and hope that you will do the right thing.
