I am writing to recommend Margaret Plane for confirmation to the Utah Court of Appeals.
I am a Senior City Attorney in the Salt Lake City Attorney’s Office, where I have worked since 1996. I worked with Margaret for over 10 years in that office, and she was my boss for about six years. I whole-heartedly recommend that Margaret’s appointment to the Court of Appeals be confirmed. Margaret is very smart, has careful and wise judgement, and is very fair. She has perfect judicial temperament.
I suspect that Margaret and I don’t agree on everything politically, but she never let those kinds of differences affect her work and legal decisions or how she related to people in our office. Margaret is outstanding in every way.
